About Me 

I am a Registered Nurse, Birth Doula, Childbirth Educator, and mom of two. I believe in supporting the physiological process of birth and that my presence during labor can be soothing and empowering. I am excited to be that presence for your birth! 

I am a native Northern Californian and graduated from UC Santa Cruz. I attended the Natural Resources Birth Doula Training which included 36 hours of material in:

• Comprehensive understanding of labor and birth

• Comfort measures and relaxation techniques

• Positions for an active birth

• Emotional support for women and their partners

• Consumer advocacy and informed choice

• Understanding the pros and cons of medical technology in birth

I also attended the Cornerstone Childbirth Educator Program and currently teach Childbirth Preparation courses for Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital and Kaiser Permanente. I am Adult/Child/Infant CPR/AED Certified and recently graduated nursing school and am offically a registred nurse, looking for a job in (no surprise here!) Labor and Delivery!

I am based in Oakland and am available for Childbirth Education and births in both the East Bay and San Francisco.
